What an unusual perspective both in the picture and the poem! Makes me stop and wonder if I have ever seen sunflowers facing dark? Yes, of course, they face where they saw the sun last, as do I. I takes an effort, and rightfully so, to turn to and bow to the East.
At the rising Sun the Sunflowers look toward the darkness but, they will shine in the day! Nice! _m
