last goodbye…
one grain of rice
left on a plate
Ink Lasts Longer
Stop weeping over
a poured out
dream.
Dry your tears
and write me.
Ink lasts longer
than love.
When your face
disappeared
gradually,
I envied the alley
for ...
it managed to hug,
even for a moment,
your departing steps
Why did you say goodbye,
when you could beautify
our separation by
the possibility of
a new hi...!
the parallel lines
of the railroad tracks=
missing you

nice way of 'good' bye
ReplyDeleteWow! SO many goodbyes you give, all marvelous! I love how you move from the tear at the train to the parallel train tracks "missing you."
ReplyDelete"Ink Lasts Longer" is both a cynical and a beautiful truth. But my favorite is the alleyway who gets the last hug while the face disappears. I am so sorry that I cannot read the second alphabet ...
Thank you for the beauty of these poems.
I liked the one with one grain of rice on a plate. Poignant. Understated. Stunning!
ReplyDeleteWow! I enjoyed each and every poem ...
ReplyDeleteThese are so amazing....I'm glad I found your blog.
ReplyDeleteInk lasts longer... love the practical voice taking over!
ReplyDeleteI loved "one grain of rice"! What could be more alone?

Loved the parallel lines of railroad tracks, followed by the "=" sign, so clever you are! But my favorite? "Ink Lasts Longer," the idea of a poem waiting to be written. And the title, so apt; so true! Peace, Amy
