Hello 12th International Kukai Poet:Voting Instructions from Rita Odeh and John Daleiden

Below is the ballot for the March 2013 12th International "butterfly" Kukai

Please NOTE that the votes should be sent to: international_kukai@yahoo.com

My dear haijin: your / our 12th ballot has been delayed because my computer was stolen. However, I have reconstructed the ballot from your e-mails. Note the revised voting deadlines highlighted in green below. I am still smiling in spite of the great inconvenience. Rita and I wish you good luck in the voting process.

Submission deadline — Noon, EST, (UTC-4) Friday, March 1 — Sunday, March 10, 2013. Revised Voting deadline — Noon, EST, (UTC-4) Thursday, March 14 — Sunday, March 24, 2013. Results will be up-loaded to the blog no later than, Sunday, March 31, 2013.

The Original Voting deadline has been altered due to a computer theft; altered from — Noon, EST, (UTC-4) Monday, March 11 — Wednesday, March 20, 2013.

Haijin who fail to vote will have their haiku posted with NO RESULTS.
The managers of the kukai expect every participant to vote.
1. All the entries are listed on the ballot by an individual number; the haiku and the numbers appear between the sets of double lines.

2. Only submitting Kukai Poets are eligible to vote.

3. Email your votes to: international_kukai@yahoo.com
When voting, in the subject line of your e-mail please use the words: "butterfly" March 2013 Kukai

4. Each poet has SIX (6) points to use for the kukai vote. Voters may distribute the points in increments of 1, 2, or 3.
Do not cast more than 3 points for any single haiku.

5. Each voter has 6 points; Please use the following format to submit your votes (listing the haiku by numerical order, rather than order of preference, as in the sample below):

# 05 = 3 pt.
# 21 = 1 pt.
# 30 = 2 pts.

6. Please do not vote for your own haiku. Any such votes will be disqualified. Revised Voting deadline — Noon, EST, (UTC-4) Thursday, March 14 — Sunday, March 24, 2013. Results will be up-loaded to the blog no later than, Sunday, March 31, 2013. 7. All votes will be compiled and the haiku will then be published; Results will be up-loaded to Rita Odeh’s blog no later than, Sunday, March 31, 2013. No other notice of results will be mailed to participants, so please check the blog.
