NaPoWriMo 2013 Day 30 : of Crows and Karma

a black crow-
doesn't every feather go high
in june?

Prompt:
1 to 30, A to Z

Marian at Real Toads gave us an alphabet challenge with these instructions: It's a simple challenge, really. Starting with the letter A every next word should start with the next letter of the alphabet.

Imaginary Garden With Real Toads

This was the most difficult prompt for me because I don't like restrictions. I decided to begin with the letter A , the next two words followed directly. Then I decided to spread the letters on the lines as if they are words in this way:
d..... e....... f...... g....... h....

i..... j......

The structure of modern haiku is: short(line), long, short.
Suddenly, I noticed the letter: F.
It can stand for: feather. All the other words followed directly.
What I liked about this prompt is that it teaches you to set your mind free from all burden you come with at the moment of writing.

  4. Love that you stayed true to your haiku even though it couldn't encompass full alphabet. That was a greater challenge you chose!
