As Delicious As The Sea

(click the image for a larger size)

You see me
as delicious as
the sea
and wish
to smelt my wings.
I want you
to know
that as soon as
I fall in love..
I will come to you
to be smelted
in the template
of Time.

Monthly Recycle Challenge.

Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent Challenge Blog

April's Bonus Round Question:

What’s the strangest thing you have been hoarding for the
purpose of using it in your art and how do you plan to use it?

The strangest thing I have been hoarding for the purpose of using it in my art is an old metal chain.
I plan to use it as a frame for the photos embedded on my cards..

  1. A great idea to use an old chain to frame the photo! Thanks for joining our Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent Challenge this month!

  2. What a beautiful poem! Thanks for sharing!

    1. I am glad that you like it, Reiko. Welcome back.

  3. Hello Sharon. Thanks for your uplifting comment. I enjoyed this challenge.

  4. Haiku makes my heart sing! Beautiful poem, imaginative use of old chain.

    1. I am glad that you enjoy haiku, the same as I do,MezzoKat. I consider my self a haiku addict. Since I was introduced to it, I don't enjoy any other genre. Welcome back.

  5. Rita, Love your Delicious as the Sea as well as your recycling your old chain to create a frame. Very inventive. Thank you for playing along in our Anything Goes challenge on Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent and hope you will come join us again.

I don't know if you use other designs in your work but if you would like to be eligible to win the sentiment displayed on our challenge post, please drop by again and leave us a comment answering the questions for the Bonus Round and we will count you in.

    1. Hi Chris.Mainly, I am interested in learning new techniques of presenting my poetry. Everybody is attracted to cards, so I am doing my best to make good cards. Thanks for your encouragement. My participation depends on the challenge itself:)
