My haiku translated into Chinese

a fly stuck
in the spider’s web --
refugee tent

Haiku News, 2:5, January 28th, 2013
Rita Odeh

Chinese Translation (Traditional)

一隻蒼蠅
粘在蜘蛛網上 --
難民營

Chinese Translation (Simplified)

一只苍蝇
粘在蜘蛛网上 --
难民营

The opening scene depicted in Ls 1&2 is not uncommon in some households; however, L3 reshapes the reader's perception of it, adding poignant agonies to the poem.

Never Ending Story

Below is another haiku about a refugee camp:

refugee camp --
sculpting the tree trunk
into a cross

Simply Haiku, 5:2, Summer 2007

Rita Odeh
