Haiku : Valentine

Valentine's eve-
a stranger offers me
a plastic rose

Hi Rita, your haiku is thought provoking. An act of kindness by a stranger, yet the gift seems cold and impersonal. A paradox. Love is sometimes hard to express, do we accept what is given, unconditionally, or do we deserve more? Wishing you love and real roses :)

    1. Hi Karin.
I tend to look for the beauty even in the black things.
