=====================================
The Haiku:
=====================================
grandpa's olive orchard
covered by
the rainbow

# 80.
=====================================
family feud
the wilted olive tree
on grandpa's ranch

# 79.
=====================================
hope grows
in the olive grove
a rising sun

# 78.
=====================================
An olive—
the baby puckers
his face.

# 77.
=====================================
an olive branch
beats on the window—
the house is empty

# 76.
=====================================
the hush beyond the gunfire olive blossoms

# 75.
=====================================
dementia ward—
the strangeness of olives
and her son's name

# 74.
=====================================
olive tree by night
moonlight thoughts of the
Palm Sunday

# 73.
=====================================
olive grove—
silence oozes out
from silence

# 72.
=====================================
armistice
one-armed boy maims
an olive tree

# 71.
=====================================
olive oil
the barrel filled
in case of war

. # 70.
=====================================
have you heard the wind
in the olive branches?
sunrise . . . sunset . . .

# 69.
=====================================
unceasing bombardment
tears the land and skies—
torn olive branches

# 68.
=====================================
whistling north wind
centennial music
in the olive trees

# 67.
=====================================
bitter moon—
a bowl of olives untouched
on the table

# 66.
=====================================
Turkish olive paste—
the pilgrim shares his last slice
with the homeless child.

# 65.
=====================================
misprint
of his poem:
"o love" for "olive"

# 64.
=====================================
He took the branch I'd cut
From my fairest olive grove
To use for kindling.

# 63.
=====================================
a green salad
spinach with an olive
Popeye's favourites

# 62.
=====================================
in the same pose
and on the same address:
blackbird on the olive-tree

# 61.
=====================================
Epidemic
My grandfather's olive trees,
in quarantine

# 60.
=====================================
In the ocean:
green and red with toothpick,
less one cruise ship.

# 59.
=====================================
last canvas—
a dove bearing
an olive twig

# 58.
=====================================
missionary's Bible—
a blotch of olive oil
on the first leaf

# 57.
=====================================
olive
in his mouth
her nipple

# 56.
=====================================
violent wind
an olive branch still
on a bowl

# 55.
=====================================
Olive of Hims
only its shade
keeps children from death

# 54.
=====================================
ceasefire . . .
the embers of stars
and olive trees

# 53.
=====================================
under the olive tree—
trembling shadows of leaves
on blank sheet of paper

# 52.
=====================================
first day at school
on her shopping list these
Amfissa olives

# 51.
=====================================
six olives
the depth
of my hangover

# 50.
=====================================
olive trees
uprooted in God's Name—
ooh..the pain

# 49.
=====================================
Oil from olives,
Moves in time and space
From ancient Greece to global superstores

# 48.
=====================================
grandmother's table
the black olives disappear
first

# 47.
=====================================
the dream
of perennial rye
is olive green

# 46.
=====================================
olive
in the glass missing
his green eyes

# 45.
=====================================
No sign in the sky—
only
olive clouds

# 44.
=====================================
14 years old—
to pay for riding lessons
I pick olives

# 43.
=====================================
halfway
between green and black—
olive moon

# 42.
=====================================
moonlit sand
an olive ridley buries
its eggs

# 41.
=====================================
an olive - half eaten
pit exposed
war rages on

# 40.
=====================================
Peace has failed;
the ground is blood red.
Martini?

# 39.
=====================================
alone on a park bench
the whip bird
holds its sharp note

# 38.
=====================================
the olive trees
outside the police station
seem to bear no fruit

# 37.
=====================================
summer shower
the chatter of wax-eyes
in the olive

# 36.
=====================================
on the strip
olives are harvested
their symbol ignored

# 35.
=====================================
on the border
the white dove drops
the olive branch

# 34.
=====================================
going under
the olive-tree . . . a cicada
collides into my hat

# 33.
=====================================
christmas shopping—
the olive pit
gnawed clean

# 32.
=====================================
olives—
my summer memories
from a jar

# 31.
=====================================
while dressing
he adds an extra layer
of olive oil

# 30.
=====================================
silver treetop
spreads the blessing of fruit
the small ball of olive

# 29.
=====================================
caught
in a bottle of olive oil—
spirit of the sun

# 28.
=====================================
stuffing olives . . .
a vased rose bud
timely slumber

# 27.

war shadow—
storing sunshine
in an olive

# 26.

the glass ceiling crowd . . .
an olive in the cloudy
bottom of a jar

dawn stillness . . .
under the olive tree,
locked antlers

picking up the olive
standing on the toe tops
a young maiden

two green olives
under the school uniform
the shape of her breast
