=====================================
near dusk—
an old man trying
to skip stones
# 01.
=================================
summer afternoon
a woman with a walker
smells the roses
# 02.
=================================
new coolness
I breatheinbreatheout
this same sigh
# 03.
=================================
morning chill—
once our two hearts
beat as one
# 04.
=================================
foot by foot
over broken shells
bleeding sky
# 05.
=================================
summer break
facing the midday sun
old owl sleeps
# 06.

still crimson
the western horizon—
super moon

flash floods
the blinking light
from a distant rescuer
# 08.

storm clouds—
ignoring all the signs
I followed my heart

old moon
creeping out of daylight
summer reverie

child's eyes
hungry.

the warmth of the sun
lingers in his eyes

the tartness of cut grass
between his words
