  1. Congratulations!...all your haiku's are so beautiful and vivid. I tired to look up some information on Haiku writing online and it was all very confusing to me...I wanted to try to write one and share the whole concept of Haiku writing with others on my blog, but I couldn't fully understand the concept.

    1. Hi Carmela.
Basho, the best haikuist, once wrote:" If you want to write aboat the pine tree, go to the pine tree".
So, go out to nature and listen. Nature talks. Write down what you see. Begin with the Time/ weather. For example: Spring morning.
Look around you and try to notice something : sparrows, flowers, butterflies, sky, sea, voices...
Write one very simple sentence about the scene which caught your attention.
Put the two images ion one poem.
It has to follow the structure: short, long, short.
Now, it's your turn to write your first haiku.

      All the best,
      ~Rita

  2. Congratulations, Rita. Well done! Congrats, too, on your other haiku.

Hi, Carmela. It takes time. Just be patient. If you want more resources, go to my blog and I have a list of resources that you can check out. Keep on reading haiku journals. I'm still struggling, too. Hope Rita's blog continually inspires you. :-)
